Sam/Sgt.Sam

I was a backhoe operator with Gas Co. Of N.M. in Clovis N.M. and ended at Glencoe steel manufacturers of underground fuel tanks welder ing structural steel for multiparty building, including work for Los Alamos Labs in northern N.M.and worked myself up to assistant shop foreman. Injured in 1989 after 22 years of service at this Co.. In Feb.12th I was injured at work ,had my back fused and never returned back to work, because of my injury.

My memories of Nam are varied as combat infanty Airborne with 1Cav 1Bgd Chalie Com.(1/12 Cav.C Co.)'We went off jump stat. and myself and others were given a week to report to101st. for duty. We spent some time in PhanRang,doing all kinds of crazy stuff. From 101st.Airborne came back to States where I spent some time at 82nd. Hospital with malaria then was shipped out to Nam(Sgt E5) with the 82nd Airborne Div. Where we spent our time in Hue City and eventually came back to the States where I departed the Army after 3yrs. Service.My memories are not good as I still suffer from nightmares in color no less. I have councilors and used the light system and my nightmares have diminished slot. If I had it all to do it again ,I would change nothing,because of it I am who I am. Timoteo P. Sambrano (Sgt E5)

All I recall was C Co. 1/12th Cab.( 1st. or 2nd platoon. More than likely 1st Pl. There during Tet offen. Central Highlands LZ Bird and other FUN stuff(nightmares)'and other men..proband recall damn Chinse were involved on.LlZ Byrd????!!!!!!!
